Hi, we're moving into our new home this week but our landscaping won't start for a few more weeks.
Does anyone have any ideas for temporary fencing ideas to keep our cavoodle dog from wandering off while we wait for our landscaping and permanent fencing to be done? we don't need that much. Just 5 or 6 metres one side of the house and maybe 8 metres the other side. The dog isn't outside much and isn't prone to being an escape-artist, but we just need something and were hoping not to have to hire professional fencing.
For renters of temporary fencing panels, several creative and practical ideas can enhance the usability and effectiveness of temporary fencing panels. Here are some suggestions: customized signage and branding: utilize the temporary fencing as a canvas for branding or advertising. This can be especially useful for businesses or events, where banners or signs can be attached to the fencing to promote a brand or provide information. Decorative covers: for aesthetic purposes, especially at events like weddings or festivals, renters can use decorative covers or fabric to drape over the fencing. This not only hides the industrial look of the fencing but also adds to the event's ambiance.
So, here's the deal. I rent a home with an unfenced yard. I have dogs, and so do the neighbors. Usually, neighbor-dogs can be found in our yard, and i've reached my limit of picking up 5x the amount of dog shit than usual. Property owners don't mind a fence being put in, as long as they don't have to pay a cent towards it. So, i'm looking for some removable fencing ideas. As we rent in an hoa, there are some restrictions on what we can put in. No more than 5ft high, and must be "visually appealing.

The vertical support rods, poles and stakes that anchor temporary dog fencing in place should have thick enough diameter bases to install well into grass or dirt for stability. But pole bases also need retracting flexibility for quick transport and easy storage when not containing your pup.
Outdoors, longer metal ground stakes from 12 to 18 inches screwed deep into the soil offer the most secure anchor support. Some stakes feature corkscrew or spiral ends to dig deeper and resist forceful pullouts. For industrial strength, concrete-based poles permanently set in the ground withstand the most energy but limit mobility.
The best temporary fencing is designed to provide security, safety, and containment for various purposes while also being easy to install, durable, and versatile. When choosing temporary fencing, consider the following factors that contribute to its effectiveness: material: temporary fencing is typically made from materials like chain link, welded wire mesh, plastic, or metal panels. The choice of material depends on the intended use and the level of security required. Chain link and welded wire mesh are durable options suitable for long-term use, while plastic or metal panels are often used for short-term events. Durability: temporary fencing should be sturdy and able to withstand weather conditions, impact, and potential wear and tear.
