Looking for something with a bit more grit? try corrugated metal panels. They’re more robust than most quick fixes and bring a slice of edginess to your yard. important Just make sure they’re well-secured; they do like to catch the wind.

10. Decorative Garden Panels

Bamboo fences offer a natural and exotic look that can be combined with metal accents. Combine bamboo panels with metal frames or decorative elements to create a balance of materials. Bamboo is also a sustainable choice, adding an eco-friendly touch to your garden design.

i have built a 8-wire fence using 5 waratahs and some wires i have on hand, strained off two existing wooden posts. The wooden posts are not strainer posts but i figure for 8 metres length these should not be a problem. heat So now i have the backyard fenced off and my sheep have plenty to eat. Sometime in the future though i like to build a longer temporary fence (that will last for a year or two before we have money to put in nice new fence). **question is: what do people use for strainer posts for "temporary" fences that are not meant to be permanent? can i somehow use waratahs but put a few bracing wires to ground, or does one always need to do proper strainer post with foot and strunt etc? bearing in mind that i only need the fence to last a year or two only while we landscape around the house.

Electric is great. I have used aluminum wire on wooden posts with ceramic or plastic insulators, aluminum and ss wire 1/2 wide tape with fiberglass and plastic posts for a temporary fence for 2 years. Polytape & polyrope and now have electro braid which is guaranteed for 25 years, and i have it on wooden posts which can be spaced as far apart as 50 feet depending on the lay of the land (and that's good because wooden posts are really expensive here in ks) but it's a fence that is under tension, so the corner posts have to be really strong and deep or they have to be braced on each side.
